Saqr/Falcon
Saqr is a virtual host based on VMware that allows up to 8 Tesla or 4 Quadro GPUs in one 4U housing. With up to 4 clients with vDGA configuration in one 4U housing you can get up to 16 DVI/DP signals out of this box, saving 12U rack space. The customised driver front end gives you access to all Quadro Workstation related features like Mosaic, Frame-Sync and Swap-Sync.
In the vGPU world you decide how much GPU power your clients need. Utilising nVidia Grid technology you can get up to 16 GRID Virtual Workstations or 32 GRID Virtual PCs on one TESLA card. In demanding environments like broadcast, post-production or 2D-/3D-design vGPU utilisation often limits the possibilities due to the 30fps maximum transmission rate of PCoIP/VMware Blast. We have overcome this problem. Utilising Mechdyne’s TGX middleware our vGPU solution runs at 60fps on the client! Using vGPU your Windows-based application even becomes available on mobile/handheld devices.
